Bear And Breakfast: Cozy B&B Management Adventure
Bear and Breakfast is a cozy bed and breakfast management adventure game, except you are a bear.

I was looking for a casual, relaxing game for a while now. While browsing Steam, I came across Bear and Breakfast. It seemed like the lighthearted escape from reality I was looking for. Quickly after starting it, I realized that it was so much more than a simple B&B management game.

Similarly to all Stardew Valley-esque games, you have your story hook in the beginning, providing you with a reason to run your farm, graveyard, or in this case a B&B. The quest driven story following Hank the bear provides a fun and quirky transport vessel into bed and breakfast ownership.
As you progress in the game you meet interesting characters such as a loveable trash panda that will eventually sell you human "junk" that you use to decorate your B&B increasing your inn's prestige. The higher prestige you have, the more money you make off of each visitor. Allowing you to afford to add more rooms and decorations to your inn.

As your business expands so do the mysteries of the forest, and Hank soon finds himself uncovering a plot deeper than the wilderness itself.
The game provides a relaxing yet upbeat soundtrack to listen to as you attend to your guest's needs, further expand your B&B empire, and unwrap the mysterious story of the wilderness. The soundtrack isn't the only quality aspect of Bear and Breakfast, the graphics give off a hand drawn comfy vibe that makes you want to spend more time as Hank the bear.

I'm having a really relaxing and fun time playing Bear and Breakfast. Although, I am currently only a few hours into it, I like the lighthearted humor, and cozy feels this game puts off. I look forward to continuing my play through. If you are into being a bear or management sims, this could be an interesting game to check out, and at only $20 it doesn't hurt the wallet either. It will also be coming to switch sometime in 2022.
