Black Friday Is the Best Time to Buy Polestar 2 Accessories
Here are some suggestions on what is popular with Polestar 2 owners throughout the Christmas season.
It might be stressful and upsetting to put off your holiday shopping until the last minute. It resembles an emergency fire exercise. Of course, if you drive a Polestar 2, you're probably in the know. However, just a friendly reminder that it would be prudent to begin your holiday Polestar 2 buying right away. After all, this week coincides with Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Here are some suggestions on what is popular with Polestar 2 owners throughout the Christmas season.
Cup Holders

The absence of cup holders in the Polestar 2 cockpit is among the most often voiced criticisms. The lack of cup holders is unimportant to me because I drive the Polestar almost exclusively by myself. But there have been instances when having a second cup holder close by would have been helpful.
Dash Cam - On Sale For Black Friday

The FitCamX has been the Polestar 2's de facto dash camera. Despite being a feature-rich EV, the Polestar 2 lacks a built-in dash cam. The FitCamX simulates an OEM installation. The general view is that this dash camera produces excellent footage and has a sleek design. With an installation time of fewer than 10 minutes, this is an exceptional choice for your new Polestar 2.
Alloy Key Fob Shell

The Polestar 2 key feels cheaply made of plastic. With this shell replacement, the inexpensive plastic from the original is swapped out for an alloy metal that feels more opulent. Key fob shell replacement is quick and easy without the need for tools.
Screen Protector

Because modern automobiles always feature a tablet-style infotainment screen, I no longer purchase screen coverings for them. That's what I did with the Tesla and the Polestar 2, at least. Replacement of a screen protector is far less expensive than replacement of the complete screen, as anybody who has had a cell phone screen break will attest to.
Portable Car Jump Starter

It is impossible to overstate the value of portable jump starters and jumper cables in an emergency. A dead battery is always a possibility. They ought to be standard in every automobile, in my opinion. A 12-volt battery powers the windows and locks of an electric vehicle. In these circumstances, a battery booster might also be effective.
Heavy Duty Floor Mats

Rubber floor mats are a wise purchase since they not only make cleaning your Polestar's flooring simpler, but they also aid in keeping your Polestar pristine (always a plus, even if you don't want to sell). There are several types of floor mats, but they all offer excellent spill protection.
Wireless Charging Pad

My 2022 Polestar 2 just has the Pilot package installed. Despite being sufficient for my purposes, this bundle misses a standard feature. A dock for wireless charging. Your car looks better thanks to wireless charging. As you drive to your destination, you may just place your phone onto the wireless charging pad to charge it.
ChargePoint Home Flex Electric Vehicle Charger

I left it for last since it might not be an accessory, but I currently have a 40 amp breaker attached to a NEMA 6-50 outlet. I am unable to fully take use of the Polestar 2's faster 48 amp level 2 charging capabilities since the breaker is just 40 amps. As a result of the ChargePoint EVSE's compatibility with up to 50 amps, after upgrading to a 60 amp breaker and hard-wiring the device, I would be able to utilize all 48 amps of level 2 home charging.
Comparatively, it takes me roughly 12 hours to charge from 0% to 100% at a rate of 32 amps, or about 7.2 kW. 48 amps would be around 11 kW at 8 hours. See the Polestar manual for more charging output specs.
