Polestar 2 Apple CarPlay Update 2.2 Finally Rolling Out To Some

The nice thing about EV's is, just like a phone, they receive over-the-air-updates(OTA). These updates bring new features, stability improvements and even improved "Improved efficiency and real-world range." in the car OTA update world.
Recently, Polestar has pushed out their latest version 2.2. This version had originally been the update that was to include the long awaited Apple Carplay update. It was temporarily pulled due to a couple of bugs. One of these bugs being vehicles with speed displayed as MPH was reverting to KPH and unabled to change back.
I personally do not own an iPhone, so I was not really waiting for it. This morning the cloud icon, indicating the update was being downloaded, appeared while driving to work. I'll be updating when I get home tonight.

At the beginning of July Polestar had resumed the 2.2 roll out. They stated that Carplay would not be available to US/UK markets just yet.

As of a few days ago I had started to see US owners getting the 2.2 update. Fortunately for some, it seems as though Apple Carplay is now available for the US market as part of the 2.2 update. The change log on Polestar's website also states Carplay will be a part of it.
