Customize Your Sim Racing Cockpit with 3D Printed Mounts

I found myself in need of a fresh mount for the tablet I utilize as a dashboard for my sim racing setup. I have used my Ender 3 Pro for a number of projects. However, most have been premade models so I can't claim mastery in 3D modeling. Consequently, I opted to adapt an existing design to meet my requirements.

Browsing through Thingiverse, I stumbled upon a fitting 3D model that snugly fits into the groove on the top of the Thrustmaster TMX. Originally designed for a rev light setup, I saw potential in repurposing it to accommodate my tablet, which I prefer using with Simhub.

I must commend the progress PruscaSlicer has made. It now boasts the capability to slice objects into segments, append extra parts, and even apply negative modifications. Although it may not match the comprehensiveness of a tool like Blender, its user-friendly workflow allowed me to swiftly tweak this rev light model to my liking.

All things considered, as an initial attempt, I am rather pleased with the outcome. I believe incorporating some support on the rear would be beneficial. Nevertheless, having put it to the test for several hours, I am delighted to report that it works as intended. Which is neat.
