The Polestar 2 is Polestar's first attempt at an all electric vehicle. This fastback EV is picking up in popularity despite the abundant competition. While Polestar did a fantastic job at designing the Polestar 2, the interior is a point of contention for some. There is a potentially major design flaw with the cupholder situation. So much so that there have been many threads and posts on social media complaining about the design choices.

Open Air Interior VS Cockpit Like Interior

Instead of the open air cabin experience that you would find in a Tesla Model 3, the Polestar 2 provides more of a cockpit experience. You sit down and feel cocooned and strapped in, ready to take corners at blistering speeds. Due to this, Polestar has opted for a single cupholder with a second hidden underneath the arm rest. Since the arm rest needs to be lifted to reveal the secondary cupholder, this causes an issue when you would like to actually use the arm rest when multiple cupholders are needed.

Fortunately, Amazon to the rescue. There are a large amount of multi-cup holders. This cup holder allows for different configurations depending on what you are trying to hold. As with all cars, there is always a plethora of accessories you can purchase to make ownership even more special. I did a Top Polestar 2 Accessories article previously if you would like to see even more things to check out.
