There are a few Polestar aftermarket accessories available that can help you get the most out of your Polestar experience, whether you're already a happy Polestar 2 owner or you're still comparing prices before making that decision.
We've compiled a list of necessary, practical, and fashionable accessories for your Polestar that existing (and future) owners should take into account.

Screen Protector

Since cars these days, always have a tablet of an infotainment screen, I tend to purchase screen protectors for them. At least that's what I've done for the Tesla and now for the Polestar 2. Anyone who has ever had a cell phone screen crack will attest to the fact that replacing a screen protector is far less expensive than replacing the entire screen.

Wireless Charging Pad

My 2022 Polestar 2 only has the Pilot package. This package, albeit sufficient for me, does not include a very common feature. A wireless charging pad. Wireless charging gives your car a more premium feel. It allows you to quickly drop your phone into place, and it will charge as you drive to your destination.

If you are fortunate enough to have the Plus package, then this feature is already built in. However, there have been reports of iPhone users having heat related issues with it. Even to the extent of placing another QI wireless charging pad overtop of it to bypass the built-in wireless charger.

In either case, I found the perfect wireless charging pad that fits snugly in the phone slot. It charges without issue every time I throw the phone into place. As with all wireless charging, it is not the quickest charging rate. But, it works to keep your phone topped off.

Portable Car Jump Starter

The value of jumper cables and Portable Jump Starter in an emergency cannot be overstated. The possibility of a dead battery is always present. Every car should have them, in my opinion. The windows and locks in an EV are powered by a 12 volt battery. In those circumstances, a battery booster can also be helpful.

Heavy Duty Floor Mats

Rubber floor mats are an excellent investment because they not only make cleaning your Polestar's flooring easier, but they also help maintain your Polestar in a spotless fashion (always a bonus, even if you don't plan to sell).
There are numerous floor mat options, but they all provide great spill protection similarly.

Cup Holders

One of the biggest issues people have with the cockpit of the Polestar 2 is the lack of cup holders. Most of the time I drive the Polestar by myself and since it's only me the lack of cup holders is not an issue. However, there have been the odd occasion where having that easily accessible second cup holder would have been nice.

Fortunately, Amazon to the rescue. There are a large amount of multi-cup holders. This cup holder allows for different configurations depending on what you are trying to hold.

Dash Cam

The FitCamX has been the de facto dash camera for the Polestar 2. Although the Polestar 2 is a feature packed EV, it does not have a built-in dash cam. The FitCamX provides an almost OEM install look. The consensus is that this dash camera provides great video as well as a clean look. With install taking less than 10 minutes, This is a solid choice for your new Polestar 2.

Center Console Wrap

The Polestar 2 has piano black plastic that is used for the center console of the car. While in practice piano black looks good, generally long term ownership is a bit different. It first becomes covered in dust and other particles, which just takes a day or two. After that, it becomes severely scraped and loses its aesthetic appeal. A solution some owners are coming up with is to wrap the center console. Check out the post I did here to see a few more wrap options.

Alloy Key Fob Shell

The Polestar 2 key feels a little too like cheap plastic. This shell replacement takes places of the old cheap plastic and replaces it with a more luxury feeling alloy metal. Replacing the key fob shell is a tool free process and is quick and easy.

ChargePoint Home Flex Electric Vehicle Charger

Maybe not an accessory, so I left it for last, but right now, I have a 40 amp breaker hooked up to a NEMA 6-50 receptacle. Since the breaker is only 40 amps, I am unable to take full advantage of the Polestar 2's faster 48 amp level 2 charging speeds. With this, ChargePoint electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) being compatible with up to 50 amps, after upgrading to a 60 amp breaker and hard-wiring the unit, I would be able to take advantage of the full 48 amps of level 2 home charging.

For comparison, I am charging at 32 amps which is roughly 7.2 kW, charging 0-100% in about 12 hours. Whereas, 48 amps would be roughly 11 kW at 8 hours. See Polestar manual for more charging output specs.
